Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hello, I'm Sihan. I specialize in working with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and interpersonal relationship issues, as well as those seeking intrapersonal improvement, such as with self-esteem and self-confidence. Having lived in Canada for eight years as an international student, I understand the difficulties of cross-cultural life for newcomers. Offering empathy and emotional support to my clients is crucial in empowering them to find life purposes and live fulfilled lives.
I incorporate therapy skills from a wide range of modalities and am enthusiastic about integrating practical self-care exercises, such as mindfulness and spirituality, into my sessions based on my clients' needs.
Outside of my professional life, I am a body-building enthusiast, and a significant part of my self-care routine involves going to the gym nearly seven days a week. I believe that simply paying attention to the extension and contraction of our muscles provides a valuable break from the demands of busy life, allowing us to treat ourselves well. Other self-care activities include playing with my cat, watching movies, and seeking emotional input by spending time with friends.

I understand that people may feel anxious about coming for therapy for various reasons. However, I see therapy as nothing more complicated than a conversation between two emotional human beings. While starting therapy might be distressing for some, I am here, prepared with my skills and passion, to help you reach your goals.
