Consultation and counselling is conducted within the legal limits to confidentiality. 

The following exceptions to confidentiality apply:

• When disclosure is required to prevent clear and imminent danger to the client or others

• When a child, or vulnerable person, is in need of protection

• When sexual abuse has occurred by a regulated health professional

• When legal requirements demand that confidential material be revealed, such as by subpoena or warrant
