Hi, I'm Celene. My approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and evidence-based techniques. I integrate my background in law enforcement with my passion for mindfulness and emotionally focused therapy to create a unique and effective path to healing. I specialize in helping individuals of all ages work through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

Trauma can impact us in countless ways, often making us feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and stuck. With nearly a decade of experience in law enforcement, I’ve seen firsthand how these challenges can unfold and how vital it is to have the proper support. I’m here to work with you to understand the root of your distress and help you build effective coping strategies to navigate life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re grappling with intense emotions, old wounds, communication hurdles, or the lasting effects of prolonged trauma, I’m committed to providing the support you need to move forward with resilience.

To make therapy as accessible and convenient as possible, I offer virtual sessions only, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own space. Whether you're balancing a busy schedule or simply prefer the flexibility of online therapy, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for meaningful growth and healing. If you are ready to embark on this journey, please contact me to schedule a session. I look forward to walking alongside you.

I’m based in Nova Scotia, where I live with my husband and our two rescue dogs, Hershey and Link. In my spare time, you can often find me lost in a psychological thriller or exploring the outdoors on a hike.

I understand how uncomfortable it can be to seek therapy. While it can be a difficult process to admit when we need help, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes things come up for us in life, both from our past as well as our present, that may demand us to seek out help, and that’s okay. If you have made it this far in that you are perusing our website and deciding if therapy is right for you, I am already so proud of you! If we have the pleasure of working
together, I will do my best to be a great support as you navigate this time in your life.
