Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Sarah. I typically work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, sexual issues, and relationship issues. As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community myself, I specialize in working with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients, and I am passionate about advocating for and supporting marginalized groups. I use an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I draw from a variety of approaches, depending on what best fits a client and their needs. Above all, I strive to connect with everyone who works with me with a deep level of empathy and compassion, regardless of what they bring into the room.

My self-care involves spending quality time with family, friends, and my golden retriever, Gracie. I also enjoy practicing yoga, playing my ukulele, and singing and dancing whenever possible. To me, a healthy life consists of a balance of social, creative, and physical activity while honouring time for rest and relaxation.

I understand how uncomfortable it can be to seek therapy. While it can be a difficult process to admit when we need help, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes things come up for us in life, both from our past as well as our present, that may demand us to seek out help, and that’s okay. If you have made it this far in that you are perusing our website and deciding if therapy is right for you, I am already so proud of you! If we have the pleasure of working
together, I will do my best to be a great support as you navigate this time in your life.
